1.The etruscan painting essentially only consists of frescoes from graves. It consists of painting on top of fresh plaster, so that when the plaster is dried the painting becomes part of the plaster and an integral part of the wall.

2. pilaster, triumphal arch, Roman basilica nave, aisle, clerestory, narthex

The Etruscan wallpaintings were actualy premade on fresh plaster then transfered from preset to wallpaintings; its apparently simple characteristics in the Hellenistic era conceals an innovative, characteristic and unique style,in which the Greek archaic period which would come to have a deep influence on the Roman art which would later entirely absorb it in the 1st century BC.

Figures in Etruscan paintings are more vivacious and communicate movement as well as emotion much better than paintings from Greece, Egypt, etc.
Roman sculpture is very much Greek. Most Roman pieces are copies of earlier Greek sculptures. What is distinctly Roman is the desire to sculpt to convey rigidity and strength. What results is playing up features of a face while downplaying others to achieve as much as possible a grave and serious demeanor.
